HeVc peptide induces inflammation and NLRP3-dependent IL-1β secretion in the lungs of mice. Wildtype C57BL/6 mice were intranasally challenged with 50 µg HeVc peptide in PBS, 50 µg of HeVc peptide and 100 µg (5 mg/kg) MCC950, or PBS alone for 6 h. Bronchoalveolar lavage was harvested.
