Protein expression of IL-1β and CXCL1 after i.n. dsRNA administration. dsRNA (100µg) or saline were i.n. administered to BALB/c, C57Bl/6J or C57Bl/6N mice once per day for three consecutive days, and protein expression of CXCL1 (A) and IL-1β (C) in BALF and CXCL1 (B) and IL-1β (D) in lung homogenates was determined by ELISA. Data are presented as pg/ml and mean ± SD. Differences between groups were tested using a 2way ANOVA with Tukey’s multiple comparisons test. P-values of < 0.05 are indicted in the graphs, each data point represents one mouse from one experiment (n = 5 per group)
