Identification of corpus cavernosum smooth muscle cells. Most cells expressed α-SMA (a) and Desmin (b), the cell nucleus was blue, and α-SMA and Desmin were mainly expressed in the cytoplasm and filamentous, which were in line with the localization of cytoskeletal proteins. Cells had no expression of CD31 (c) and CD90 / Thy1 (d), which were highly expressed in endothelial cells and fibroblast cells
