Human renal tissues (Lanes 2 and 5) and HK-2 cells (Lanes 3 and 6) showed clear bands of SP-A cDNA. Alveolar tissues were used as positive controls (Lanes 1 and 4). (B) DNA sequence. Arrows indicate the nucleotides that differ in SP-A1 and SP-A2 gene sequences. The sequencing result of SP-A cDNA in HK-2 cells revealed the same nucleotide sequence as in alveolar tissue.
