Gene expression data showing upregulation of profibrotic molecules collage I (col I), collagen III (col III), and collagen V (col V) in human IPF lung fibroblasts treated with TGFβ (10 ng/mL) for 5 days. The data also shows that treatment with the proton pump inhibitor (PPI) esomeprazole significantly downregulated induction of the fibrotic molecules while inhibition of MAP-ERK kinase 1/2 (MEK1/2) with U0126 impaired the effect of esomeprazole on all the profibrotic molecules.
