Overexpression of THRIL resulted in increased expression levels of TNF-α. Data presented above indicated the potential role of THRIL as the endogenous sponge of miR-19a. To test this possibility, the effects of THRIL and miR-19a on TNF-α, a downstream target of miR-19a, were analyzed by both RT-qPCR (a) and western blot (b).
