NGF suppressed the expression of pro-inflammatory mediators in HCECs exposed to poly (I:C) stimulation. a-d Real time RT-PCR analysis of mRNA levels in HCECs after exposure to poly (I:C) (25 μg/ml) in absence or presence of NGF treatment (50 ng/ml) for 18 h. NGF (50 ng/ml) suppressed the gene expression of pro-inflammatory mediators including IFNβ, MIP1α, MIP1β and RANTES in HCECs treated with 25 μg/ml poly (I:C).
