Inhibition of p65 is required for the enhancing effect of hesperidin on chondrogenesis of MSCs. MSCs were transduced with either empty control or p65 overexpression (OE) lentiviral particle, at day 14 after chondrogenesis induction in the absence (control) or presence of 5 μM hesperidin, the extents of chondrogenesis was evaluated by Alcian Blue staining assay (a), and by mRNA levels of chondrogenic marker Sox9 (b). Images were representatives of at least three independent experiments, and positively stained cells were shown in pink, scale bar 100 μm.
