Representative images (a-h) of placebo and GSP-treated neutrophil chemokinesis and pooled (main effects ANOVA) quantitative results (i-j) demonstrates the significant effect of fMLP-stimulation, irrespective of treatment, on chemokinetic movement of neutrophils. The migration pathway tracked for the neutrophils is seen by the coloured lines on each image. The white arrow indicate the expected/ideal direction of movement towards the chemoattractant. Images were acquired at 200× magnification (n = 9 per group, for all conditions and time point groups, as presented in Table 1). Numerical data are expressed as means and standard error of means (SEM). Statistical analysis: ANOVA and post hoc Fischer’s LSD test
