Intratracheal instillation of poly I:C induced upregulation of PD-L1 in the lung cells and neutrophilic inflammation in mice. Mice were anesthetized and received intratracheal instillation (i.t.) of poly I:C, 30 μg. At each time point, mice were sacrificed, bronchoalveolar lavage was performed, and then the lungs were collected. The lung cell suspensions were stained with FITC-conjugated anti-keratin 5/8 mAb and biotinylated anti-mouse PD-L1 mAb, followed by SAv-PE conjugate, and then processed for flow cytometry.
