Principle component analysis of cytokines and chemokines secreted from synovial explants. Supernant from 8 OA and 4 normal biopsies was examined using the Luminex platform. Normal biopsies clustered together in all treatment groups (IFNγ, TNFα, IL-4 or IL-10), regardless of the presence or absence of clodronate. OA biopsies demonstrated no discernable pattern with the exception of IL-10 treatment in which all biopsies treated with or without clodronate clustered together
