ATF4 is required for LPS-induced NF-κB and MAPK activation in retinal endothelial cells. Mouse retina endothelial cells were transduced with Ad-Ctrl, Ad-ATF4DN (A), or Ad-ATF4 (B) for 24 h and then treated with 250 ng/ml LPS for additional 8 h. The levels of p-NF-κB, p-P38, p-JNK, p-P42/44 were determined by western blot analysis and quantified by densitometry.
