CRMP2 RNAi reduced the expression of fibrosis and inflammation markers in ApoE −/− mice with MI. Expression of different fibrosis and inflammation markers was analyzed by quantitative real-time PCR in myocardial samples from the infarct region (Infarct), infarct border zone (Border), and area remote to the infarct (Remote) 7 and 28 days after infarction.
