(A) Total number of leukocytes in liver cell extracts was identified by their positivity for CD45. (B) The numbers of monocytes and granulocytes were measured by their positivity for CD11b. (C) Macrophages were identified by their positivity for CD11b and F4/80. (D) The total number of neutrophils was measured by their positivity for Ly-6G. The analysis was done from livers of animals taken 5 days after BDL surgery and 48 h after single injection of CCl4.
