Effect of exercise training on intestinal IL-10 production within transverse colon tissue. Secreted levels of IL-10 in colon culture supernatants of sedentary and exercise-trained WT and APNKO mice with and without DSS-induced colitis. Two way ANOVA was used to calculate significant difference between various groups. (APNKO) DSS vs Control p < 0.01, (WT) DSS vs Control p < 0.003, ** vs C + SED APNKO p < 0.002. Data are means ± SE.
