Effects of insulin and/or TNFα on nuclear import of NFκB in VEC. Cells were grown to 80% confluence in growth medium. Cultures were subsequently grown in serum-free medium for 24 hours and then treated without or with (INS) insulin (10 nM) or TNFα (20 ng/mL) alone or in combination for indicated times. Cytoplasmic and nuclear fractions were isolated and relative amounts of NFκB were determined.
