2-AG, but not anandamide (AEA), is induced by LPS in human mature adipocytes. Adipocytes were incubated with LPS 1 μg/mL for 1 and 2 hours. Medium and cells were collected and total lipids were extracted. The CB1 agonists 2-AG (panel A) and anandamide (AEA) (panel B) were identified and quantified by HPLC-APCI-MS analysis.
