  1. C57BL/6, IL-18-/- or T bet-/- mice (n = 5/group) were exposed to S. rectivirgula (150 μg) three times and analyzed 18 hrs after last exposure.
  2. a BAL was performed and the recovered cells were counted using trypan blue dye exclusion.
  3. b Cells isolated from the BAL fluid were incubated with antibodies to various cell surface markers and analyzed by flow cytometry to determine the cellular composition of the BALF. PMNs were identified as: CD45+/CD11b+/Gr1+; NK cells as CD45+/NK1.1+
