Green tea effects on Ttp family mRNA levels in rat liver. Total RNAs were isolated from livers of rats with metabolic syndrome induced by a high-fructose diet and reversely transcribed into cDNAs. Twenty-five nanograms of RNA-derived cDNAs were used for quantitative real-time PCR assays. The ΔΔC T method of relative quantification was used to determine the fold change in expression. The results represent the percentage means and the standard deviations from 5–8 samples with 2–4 repetitions of each sample. Values with different upper case and lower case letters displayed above the columns of the figure are significantly different at p < 0.01 and p < 0.05, respectively.
