Cytokine response is not modified in the absence of TRPM2 channels. Levels of IL-6 (A), IL-13 (B), IL-10 (C), and TGFβ1 (D) in the BAL fluid of OVA- and saline-treated WT and TRPM2^-/- mice (bld = below levels of detection). Significant elevations in the level of cytokines were detected following OVA treatment in WT and TRPM2^-/- mice compared to saline control group (ctrl), but no significant difference was found between mouse strains.
